We have stayed at WBC a couple of times and planned on staying there again this spring, but then I came across a VRBO listing for Fountains and it looks really comparable. We are only doing Epcot and a day at Disney Springs so location isn't a big issue for us. Tell me the good, bad, and ugly about Fountains. Our group is DH (45), DS (20) and girlfriend (19), DD (16), DD (14) if that helps with your advice. Thanks!!

We stayed at The Fountains on South International Drive back in 2018 for 2 weeks. Is this what you are looking at? Great location. Minutes to the parks. Our unit was beautiful..very up to date. The resort is not huge. Two pool areas. Starbucks. Pool bar and grill. Nice walking path. We took a chance on it and would definitely stay again. Lots of offsite restaurants within minutes.

We stay at the Fountains for 95% of our trips. The units are very spacious and the location is great. It only takes about 15-20 minutes to get to each park, depending on traffic. It's also very quick and super easy to get to Disney Springs, so we're there a lot on off days. Parking is also right next to your unit. We don't spend a lot of time around the resort, but if you wanted to, there are lots of things to do. Publix is close and so is a big new Target. I love having the full kitchen and washer and dryer. My only complaint is sometimes room cleanliness is not the greatest (nothing atrocious), but I'm really picky about that anyway. I also know a ton of hotels have struggled with housekeeping since the pandemic. Can't speak to WBC, but if you can get a good rate and spend most of your time at the parks anyway, Fountains is a good choice. We prefer building 9 (newest rooms) or 10, near the large pool

Fountains has a very good reputation; if I weren't a Wyndham owner, I'd definitely consider an exchange there. Go for it!
