A few Questions about the Blue Man Group

Where do you buy your tickets?

Where is the best place to sit?

Is it worth the money?

Would you recommend it to 2 adults in mid 20s?

A Thank you please. lol

I would definately, 100% without question recommend BMG.
We went in Feb 2009 (this time last year was our first day in Florida :sad2:) with our 2 kids and we all loved it. So much so that when we got back we booked tickets for their UK tour.

We bought our tickets from the box office of the BMG theatre - next door to US - but you can also get them from the booths on the entrance to City Walk as I remember.
If you want to buy before you go then Universal sell them on their site HERE

As for seating I would try to get front row - dead centre. They call it the 'splash zone' and issue water proof ponchos, but you really won't need them. If you can't get that close though I wouldn't be that bothered as the theatre is quite small and intimate so you will get good views anywhere you sit. That plus the fact the the Blue Men go walk about a few times so everyone feels like part of the show.
Also try to hang around in the foyer after the show as the Blue Men come out to sign (or should I say put their blue finger print) in your program and pose for photos :thumbsup2

I would pretty much echo what Kenny has said except we sat in the front row of the first row of seats that aren't in the 'splash zone'. DH and I went on our own in August 07 and we were really impressed. It is a great show :thumbsup2

If you do go, whatever you do DO NOT GET THERE LATE :lmao:

Found on the universal site 2 tickets Center poncho zone £101.00

I dont know how buying them online works? do they email me? or do they want to send tickets out?

We watched the BMG when they were over here on tour last summer and we loved it! I imagine that the one at Universal has much more to it than what they could bring on a tour with them.

Lots of fun and the audience participation was brilliant. We weren't close enough to be involved, but none the less we had a great evening. I'd love to see the show at Universal when we go, but I don't think there will be time and it's a lot of $$ for 5 adults :scared1:

OMG definately do it. I have seen them several times, once at Universal, they are fab.

You can collect the tickets at the box office on the day, just get there 15 mins early incase of a queue. :thumbsup2

i really want to book it but i have to see what my funds are like in 2 days :rotfl2:

Buy direct from Box office or online.
If in no rush to buy keep an eye on Travelzoo, they sometimes have a link to discounted tix, only ones they list just now are Vegas & NYC.

We all loved it, might go again this year, we get discounted tix with AP.

Definately do it! You will not be disappointed! We did it in May and loved it! We were sat front row, dead centre and it was great!

Like Joh said though, make sure you are not late!!!!

Was that the stuff that comes out of the chest?
We saw that but it didn't reach the end of the stage the night we went. Maybe they pumped up the pressure for your performance :thumbsup2

That was the only thing that disappointed me with BMG, I paid for best front seats to be in poncho area, none of it reached us, I expected it being messy. Some shows must be more messy than others.

You will love it. I had the opportunity to see it in Las Vegas in July and nearly wet myself and at one point couldn't breathe for laughing. I have never experienced anything like it and I can't wait to see it in Orlando in September and introduce my sister to the genious that is the Blue Man Group!

We're hoping to go to BMG on our next trip. hoping to stay at a Universal hotel overnight.
from everyone i know whos seen it-they all love it.

My Brother was not over impressed but he doesn't like Disney and doesn't think children should be allowed in Upper class, majority of normal people like it:rotfl:

i am really itching to book grrrrr!! i must resist for now lol

You won't regret it! I've seen BMG twice now, in New York and Vegas, and we will also be going back in May too :D It's stupid really as it's pretty much the same show but I just can't not go!

Get Matt to pay. ;) You need to see them, they are fab!!!

Don't read loads of reviews and watch loads of clips on You tube though as you'll spoil it for yourself. Trust me, you'll love it. :thumbsup2
