Has anyone gone to see the Blue Man Group?? How did you like it??

Me and DH are going to Universal in May for 5 days and I got a discount on some tickets so I went for it..

Its the poncho section.. Im leaving this show as a surprise for him!

Bettyann29, we went to our first show last weekend at Universal and LOVED IT! So much so that we bought tickets for their touring show that happens to be in Florida this weekend. You'll enjoy it. I'm excited for you. Any questions?

Can you give more info on the show? All I know is there are a bunch of dudes with blue faces. What do they do?

Considering getting tix for my family and my parents as it will be my mother's birthday when we're there and wondering wth it actually is.

Saw it last summer and LOVED it. The Blue Men do a variety of music, comedy, skits without ever talking. It's appropriate for people of all ages. My 10 year old loved the slapstick humor, my 14 year old and I got the subtle, more adult humor. I'd see it again in a heartbeat.

I have never been to see them, however everyone tells me that it is a great show :)

Thanks so much for the info..

Im excited and want to tell DH but I want to surprise him with this.. I was thinking we could hit the downtown area after this show..

the night we went to blue man group was one of the best nights we had on our trip. they were hilarious and my niece and i never laughed so hard. we sat in the front row center and could have stayed there all night. it is a must see and i can't wait to see it again.

Took my DS 8 last weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very entertaining show. Interactive. Engaging.

My son is still talking and laughing about it a week later.

Remember me, posted a few posts back... well we liked the show so much we have gone to Orlando twice and the tour twice since. =o)

Enjoy

We went last year. I was a little hesitant but my son really wanted to go. It was terrific. the place is small enough so that any seat is good. We were almost all the way in the back to the left of the stage. I would like to state again that all seats are good. Anyway, when you get there they give you this long piece of something like toilet paper. I don't know how else to explain it. Anyway you hold onto it because at the end of the show you twirl it around and then from the back of the seating area, they release rolls of toilet paper and everyone pushes it towards the stage. The blue men are excellent. they never talk and there is a part where they come into the audience and stare at people and such. They also do pick some people out of the audience. If you have the money and time, I would highly recommend going to this show. They really are worth the money.

This is from BlueMan.com their official site and I have to say it's pretty spot on... "The approximate running time for all Blue Man Group theatre shows is one hour and forty-five minutes without an intermission."
