If I'm not mistaken, Blue Man Group just opened up with their first show at Universal on June 1. Does anyone know how it was???:)

Thanks...that was a great preview.....will definately be going to see it next year! :thumbsup2

I'm going to buy tickets for our trip in December in the "poncho" section! Did you ever see them do the Who song "Baba O'Reilly" aka "Teenage Wasteland"? Awesome!!!

Do Passholders get a discount on tickets for this show - it looks fantastic?

Thanks - can the tickets be bought online from the Passholder section of the website or do I need to call for tickets? Sorry for all the questions :guilty:

Hi Joh
u need to call the AP line to get the discount, 10% off did it last week very easy and simple

A question for those of you who have been to this theatre before...I was wondering about the stage height in relationship to the poncho seating area.

We found at Playhouse Disney that acquring the seating closer to the front also mean't the stage obstructed your view when the act performed from mid to back stage postiions.

I have concerns the stage height (from the PONCHO area) may not allow unobstructed viewing if parts of the acts are back further on the stage. This concern is also increased with our two young daughters who are around 40-46" tall. Is this also an issue or possible issue with this theatre. If it is...where in you opinion (zone/row) do you overcome this line of sight issue...?

FYI: I just called the ticket office and they informed me the area was redesigned especially for Blue Man. The stage is only 3ft tall with all seats staggered, so no one is directly seated behind the person in the row in front of them.

Try to go for seats more in the center...slightly obstructed on the side for me...

GREAT SHOW!!!

I've seen it twice in previews and it's really really good. They redesigned the stage for the show, and it fits in well.

Opening night is June 7, the 17 anniversary of the park!!!!

We saw the Blue Man Group show on Tuesday (June 5). It was fantastic! If you can get tickets, it's a definite "must see". My 10yoDD and 14yo DS really enjoyed it as well.

thanks for posting the vid! We have tickets for August 17th and now we are even more excited :)

go to the universalorlando.com web site and there is a lot of info on Blue Man Group

They also offer assistive listening and descriptive narration to those who may need it. very cool!

We are looking forward to seeing the show and have purchase tickets...PONCHO-Center, but I have not run across anything referencing the length of the show. Does anyone know how long the show is...1, 1 1/2, 2 hours?
