I'm going to buy tickets for our trip in December in the "poncho" section! Did you ever see them do the Who song "Baba O'Reilly" aka "Teenage Wasteland"? Awesome!!!
A question for those of you who have been to this theatre before...I was wondering about the stage height in relationship to the poncho seating area.
We found at Playhouse Disney that acquring the seating closer to the front also mean't the stage obstructed your view when the act performed from mid to back stage postiions.
I have concerns the stage height (from the PONCHO area) may not allow unobstructed viewing if parts of the acts are back further on the stage. This concern is also increased with our two young daughters who are around 40-46" tall. Is this also an issue or possible issue with this theatre. If it is...where in you opinion (zone/row) do you overcome this line of sight issue...?
FYI: I just called the ticket office and they informed me the area was redesigned especially for Blue Man. The stage is only 3ft tall with all seats staggered, so no one is directly seated behind the person in the row in front of them.
We saw the Blue Man Group show on Tuesday (June 5). It was fantastic! If you can get tickets, it's a definite "must see". My 10yoDD and 14yo DS really enjoyed it as well.
You can get tickets at http://universalorlando.com
Jus click on the Blue Man Group. Tickets start at $59 dollars and go all the way up to.....$69 dollars.
We are looking forward to seeing the show and have purchase tickets...PONCHO-Center, but I have not run across anything referencing the length of the show. Does anyone know how long the show is...1, 1 1/2, 2 hours?
