I have front row tickets for the Blue Man Group. Aftet I recieved them, I noticed they say Poncho seats. How messy is it? Do I need a helmet and shoe guards too?

:rotfl: no... I've read a lot of reports stating you might not even need the poncho :confused3

I'm interested in any Blue Man comments also. Missed their premiere by about a week last year, so definitely want to catch them this time around.

Is it worth it?

What are the best seats possible - is front row too close for a good view?

Is the electric blue lemonade any good? ;)

Depends if you get hit. Things get a little messy. It's not exactly smashing watermelons with a mallet messy, but it's messy...

If you're referring to the cost of a ticket, then no. It's worth more.

I wouldn't know from experience, but you'd probably be better off closer to the middle of the theater. The show has some large set pieces and you want to be able to see it all.

I have seen BMG many times... but only once in the poncho section. So like good little theather goers, we brought our ponchos, only to find out, they provided them :lmao:

I also agree the closer your are to the center the better... And for those who dont know, there is some reading involoved in the show so make sure to bring your glasses!!

We had 2nd row seats. It was awesome! I think the ponchos were more for effect than any necessary protection. It wasn't messy, although I could see how it COULD get messy if things got out of hand.

On a side note, My DS8 was chosen from the audience to participate on stage for one of thier demos...the drumstick/earlobe thing. It was hilarious!!!! Oh how I wish we had been allowed a camera!!

The show was phenomenal. Worth every penny of the hundreds of dollars we spent!!!
