Ok…we are heading down this Thanksgiving to WDW/US and I think BMG would be a great event one of the nights. I tried to search reviews on different seats and found a good variety. One thing I wasn't able to discern was the viewing from the front row. We have four kiddos (15,13,10,9) and I think splurging for front row will be a ton of fun for them. I, on the other hand, am not in favor of been sprayed with twinkie goop but will go with it. My question is will we be craning our necks looking up at the stage for the entire show or is it more at eye level?

Thanks again!
Kimberly

We get the row 1 "poncho seats" every time we see the show. You will not be craning your neck at all nor will you be disappointed. The show is fantastic. Yes you might get sprayed a bit but that is part of the fun. Wear the poncho you are given.

Twice we were given the Blue Man painting that they made during the show because we were in the front row.

Thank you ParkHopperFan. I am excited to see the show and would love to get a painting but the fun of this crazy time will be great.

We have been a few times and never get the front row. I prefer to be a few rows back because yes, I would feel like I am too close to the stage and straining my neck to watch. I prefer to have a view of the full stage without having to constantly turn my head back and forth. Just my opinion.:headache:

It's not a very large theater and the stage is not high enough from the floor to where you would have to be straining your neck to be looking up. Also, when you're in the front row, you'll never have to try and look around someone else's head that is sitting in front of you.

Sure you have to look up as they are standing on the stage and are not always standing side-by-side shoulder-to-shounder. LoL. In addition to the action that does go on above their heads. Don't forget you have to look at the action on stage to your right and to your left. It is more of constantly looking around in the front row compared to sitting a few rows back where you can just shift your eyes with minimum head movement. If they are spread across the stage you will not see all three at once. In addition, sitting further back you get a better view of when the come out into the audience instead of having to turn around. People in front of me have never been a issue for me or my kids. One of our favorite parts was the toliet paper you pass along over your heads. In the front row, you are at the end with no one to pass to.

I also do not like imax movies. Too much having to turn your head in various directions to try to keep up with everything. When I do go to imax I always sit in the very back row (the highest level) so if anything I am looking down and left and right. The first time we went it hurt my neck so bad looking up, down, left, and right.

We saw Blue Man Group and I didn't choose front row seats because you always have to look up and back and forth and don't have a very great view IMO. I intentionally picked our seats to be halfway back (row 11) and right in the very center of the row so we were dead center both ways. If we ever go again I am going to try to get the very same seats they were perfect.

And also in the first 4 "poncho" rows you really do get splattered with A LOT OF STUFF. It almost reminded me of that comedian who use to take things on stage and hit them with a big mallet just to be splattering stuff. I wouldn't care for that at all.

I have to go with Nina on this one. Just a few rows back makes for a more comfortable and enjoyable experience. Tier one, zone one, center would be my choice if I could get it. Just mho though.

We sat front row 3 years ago and I thought the view was great. The problem was when the "spit" started flying, my youngest son got him right in the face. I spent the rest of the show cleaning him up and trying to keep him from vomiting.
