Just been messing and come across discounted tickets for BMG, its a travelzoo link but not advertised on their site(yet) http://www.insiteticketing.com/Univ...UNV000000100&UOPL=UNIV&UOCID=103344&UOSID=671
Lets you book tickets with, I believe, a $20(+tax) discount, $54 instead of $74.
Only lets you book from 18th August to 16th Sept 2010.
Possibly an offer coming online this Wednesday when they send out the new top 20 email.:confused3

I'm gutted - I was checking travel zoo for codes for the last little while and just decided to book my tickets on Friday! Oh well, you win some and you loose some. The positive is I managed to get amazing seats so it's worth the extra $20. I love the BMG! I hope someone can make use of this though.

Just took this offer up for 23rd September. Centre Row E seats 17-20, hopefully these are good seats :thumbsup2

Baed on what I've read, these are good seats. :thumbsup2

We're going on September 2nd and have Centre Row D aisle seats. I've heard there is a greater chance of interaction if you're in an aisle seat. At least we'll be able to get in and out quickly anyway!

We have done the show at Universal and I would say that the interaction is good where-ever you are. The Blue Men visit the audience on a number of occassions - I won't say too much here as I don't want to post any spoilers.
One other thing to bear in mind if you are after increasing your chances of getting picked - make sure you wear a top that is plain - i.e. doesn't have any slogans, advertising or Disney stuff on it. I saw this written somewhere before we went and was looking out for it - and sure enough everyone that got picked out of the auidence had a plain t-shirt on.
Must be something to do with the strict advertising laws they have over there.

My boyfriend was picked for the show when we were in Las Vegas! The male part that goes away with them ;) It was quite funny leaving after as lots of Americans were pointing and going "there's the guy!!!" plus they'd got blue paint on his top, lol.

Anyway, highly recommend the BMG :thumbsup2 I've seen them 3 times now - NY, Vegas & Orlando - but I just can't help it, lol. Just wanted to say we used the TravelZoo offer this year in May, however, we just went to the Box Office on the day and managed to get the 1st row back after the "Splash Zone" so if anyone isn't sure there's a good chance you can leave it until you're actually there (obviously permitting the offer is still available at that time).

always wondered about this, what happens if they get paint on your clothes? do they give you money for replacements?
i saw the short lived london version of the show and the guy when he returned his shoes had become blue

To be honest I can't imagine that anyone who got picked would be that interested in getting any 'compensation'
If I had got picked and ended up with paint on my clothes I would probably keep them that way as a momento of my night.
If people are that bothered about it, especially if they are wearing something expensive, then just say no if they come and pick you out.

Tbh, it was a small amount on his sleeve and he wasn't that bothered, like Kenny said after what had just happened! Plus it came out in the wash no problems as well so no long-term damage done :thumbsup2 My boyfriend was given overalls to wear on stage and they actually took his shoes and gave him a pair of boots to wear instead. Glad about that as he was wearing brand new Timberland's we'd just bought in Vegas!
