I'm waiting to see if there are AP rates for BMG for the beginning of September. When they do release these are they for a specific area does anyone know please?

My family are sold on the poncho area so not sure if they'll be discounted and it's worth waiting.

Thank you

there is always an AP rate for BMG
it's not a "rate" per se, it's a discount.
You get 20% off with your AP

to book in advance you need an active AP.
if you've just ordered it and only have a voucher, you will not qualify for the discount. You'll then need to go to the ticket window when you're in Orlando once your AP has been activated at a parks gate.

if you already have a valid AP
you can call 407-BLUEMAN (258-3626) to book

you can also try online. Be advised this one's tricky :p

let me share the way to do that (I spent a lot of time with passholder support to work this out, as their site is absolutely rubbish)

on the UO main page, click "passholder login" at the top right of the screen

enter your Pass ID and PIN Number (most recent APs will have the PIN number being the last few numbers of the Pass ID ...)
once you log in, nothing happens, you just fall back on the passholder benefits page anyone can go to ... but looks like the site will remember you logged in

on the left, click on the AP you hold (premier, preferred or power) and this will open a page with your AP benefits

on that benefits page, you will see a line like this

Entertainment
  • 20% off Blue Man Group Orlando adult tickets* in Poncho, Tier 1 and Tier 2 seating only (up to 6 tickets). Purchase at the Blue Man Group Orlando box office, UniversalOrlando .com or by calling 407-BLUEMAN (258-3626).

click on the Universal orlando dot com link and it will take you to the BMG booking page with the AP rates.

make a simulation first for regular tickets, so that you know what price is the regular price. This way you'll know if the AP discount has been applied, because it doesn't show anywhere. Comparing regular to discounted prices is the only way to know your AP discount has been applied

good luck :p

That's really helpful, thank you :)

You're right, I've spent ages fighting with their website & getting nowhere, will follow your instructions! :)
