Blue Lagoon Dolphin Encounter

Hi!
We are scheduled for the 12:45 (all they had left) BL Dolphin Encounter off the Disney Wonder. What time do we leave the Wonder for the excursion and do you think we will make it back for early seating dinner? Do they have shuttles running back and forth to Blue Lagoon all day?

When you board, you'll get your tickets for your port excursions. And your ticket would list the time that you're actually going to leave the ship. It might be relatively early and they'll take everyone at the same time, or you might have a later departure where they get you there not very long before your dolphin swim. We have been to Blue Lagoon several times, although not on a dolphin swim. There were several ferries going back in the afternoon. But, I don't know if that would be true on the day you're sailing or not.

Now that I think about it, it is probably likely that you would leave pretty close to 1245. When I was first thinking about your question I was thinking of having booked the dolphin swim at 12:45 and then needing to get there before that time. But what you booked is the Disney excursion, and so I would guess that you would leave the ship around 1245. The trip out to blue Lagoon is about half an hour, and then obviously time for your excursion and maybe to enjoy the beach. I would think you'll make it back for the early dinner seating, but you may be a little rushed. That might be an evening to consider dining at Cabana’s instead.

If your excursion is for 12:45, that would be the meeting time. So you would have the morning to do as you wish. Your tickets will tell you the meeting place (may be on board but afternoon excursions can be on the pier). Once you are over to Blue Lagoon, they will have scheduled ferry times to take you back. You will have to see based on the time your encounter lasts and when the ferries leave if you will have time to make it to early dinner or not (I'm guessing you will -- don't know what time last ferry is running at currently, but when we went a few years ago, it left Blue Lagoon at 4pm.)
