Christine, we're not doing a Fantasmic dinner package. We decided to eat dinner at MGM & hang out until the show. Just wasn't worth the extra money because if the show is cancelled for any reason (bad weather, winds) you don't get to use the voucher for another day. Tammy. Jenn (Tammy's friend) & I are going to wait around for it, so you will have company if you decide to wait for it.

I added the DP because it's just easier to handle. It's a good bargain, if you like to do table service meals.

Do you mind if I tag along for that? We haven't made it to Fantasmic on our last two trips

Yes, the Kona dinner is still a go.

I want to go. It's been a long time for that too. I don't really have too many plans right now aside from flight times and the room booked and paid. I need to get my butt in gear and make sure that at the very least I am using up all my sit down meal credits. But yes, Jenna, I would like to go to PI one night! I am a BAD dancer, but I'd like to go anyway.

Beth, you're not crazy. You're thinking of 8 Trax. I think it is 70's music, but on Thursdays, aka WDW payday and employees get in free to PI, 8 Trax has 80's music night. I spent many Thursday nights of my college program there dancing to cheesy 80's music

Good Morning Official DIS Ladies Meeters! I popped in here and said Hi a few weeks ago because I am going Nov 1-7th. I generally hang with the PMS crowd and will be with that group of troublemakers, um I mean friends during the week-- but I recognize some of you here from around the boards.

I may have done a very stupid thing.


I have recently been having a great time enjoying the DIS Unplugged Podcasts done by the DISboards owner Pete Werner and several of the Webmasters here. They are available here on the site and free and easy to listen to. Well, they have a segment called Send Bob to the Parks, where they send Webmaster Bob, who uses an ECV, into the Parks with a video camera to do a video and audio report on whatever they need. Bob has his own unique style and is quite fun to watch and listen to. You can see his report from Star Wars Weekends at the bottom of the page here to get an idea:

So back to my STUPID idea:

I wrote to Pete and the Podcast team this weekend to just ask a question about the people in DIS lime green I had seen in the video. A simple question of "Do you ever stop and say Hi and tell them you are a WM or are Pete etc..." And then, cause I have a weird sense of humor and can't keep my big mouth shut (or stop my fingers typing) I added:



Pretty funny idea, huh? They get lots of email from listeners each week, and this was my first time to ever write in so there is no way they would actually read this, think it was a good idea and take me up on it, right?

WRONG!

They read it on today's show. They didn't really answer my question about the lime green, but Pete said that he thinks it is a great idea and wants to send Bob to report on the Ladies Meet and get some Video!

They will contact me to work out the details but if I can get a better idea of if there is a plan for everyone beyond just the meals it would help me when I talk to them. I am guessing we will just pick one day and a park and everyone interested can meet to have a great time and see if they can be the next DIS Network Star!
