Blue Flag Boat Route

This morning my DH had an ADR for Crystal Palace at 8:15am. We planned accordingly knowing we could take the blue flag boat to contemporary and walk to MK bc they start running at 6:45am and have done this before.

We arrived at the dock at 7:30am and saw the boat going from wilderness lodge to contemporary and walked out on the dock expecting the boat in 10-15 min to arrive from the contemporary. In the meantime a father and daughter joined us in line. They mentioned they had ADR at wilderness lodge for breakfast and were glad to see that they weren't the only crazy people standing in the rain at this hour!

At 7:50 we see the same boat head back to wilderness lodge and not towards ft wilderness. I brush it off saying we have a 15 min grace period for ADRs and we still have time to make it as long as the boat comes. At 8:10 the boat heads back to contemporary and now I'm irritated. The father and daughter follow me off the dock after I start swearing about me being charged the cancellation charge for missing this ADR. DH takes me to the check in building and I stated all that occurred and how I'm not happy and somebody's paying for either a taxi or the cancelled ADR. But my faith is restored when concierge is prompt to get a baggage handling van as our escort and drop us at the entrance to MK and they call ahead to CP to right this wrong. So breakfast ended up being great if not a little soggy from standing in the rain. I go back later to thank concierge for their efforts and ask about the boat and frustratingly they weren't given a reason either for the no show.

Annoyingly enough I could hear the boat horn from our site this morning so I know it was running at 6:45 but disappeared from it's normal route for some reason.

We had this same sort of thing happen to us, but only with the internal buses this past fall. The first night after we got set up we wanted to go to DTD, we went to the bus stop and waited on the opposite side of the road, for the bus heading to the outpost. It was rather cold that night, 47 - 50 degrees at 9 P.M. When the bus going to the Settlement came by, she stopped and asked where we were going and we told her, she said the bus should be coming by in about 5-10 min. in that direction. Well after what seemed like 20 min. the same lady is the one that stopped and picked us up, and she asked why we didn't take the other bus, and we told her that it never came by. So she apologized, and took us up to the outpost. Never heard anything on why the other bus was not on the route. We did not let it spoil our vacation and had a great time at DTD.

We didn't have any Ressie's, but if we did I would have been some upset also.
