Those short ribs are great. On our last visit, I had the key lime pie and hate to say I was disappointed in it.
It really tasted like a Jello box mix pie.
Oh my! that is so not good! I would have inquired about it. and if I really did not like the dessert, either I would have asked for another, or politely state that I am not planning on paying for that dessert, for it was really quite terrible, I am sorry. Then I would state the reason for it tasting just awful!
At a restaurant in San Francisco, that I normally like very much to dine at, my meal was just hideous. I said something about it, and I was asked if I
wanted something else, I was trying to be polite, so I declined, besides, I had eaten just enough bread, while awaiting upon my most salty dish (unbeknowest to me at the time) so I was not really all that hungry anymore to say the least. Then the waiter, slides, does not ask me first, the dessert menu right before me, then states that maybe this will take care of that taste, so I am thinking oh, free dessert, for again, I was not asked if I was interested, so therefore, took his actions and words as meaning a complimentary dessert, well I get the bill, and no, I am charged for everything,so I commented to the manager, the reasons why I did not expect to pay for the dessert, I of course told him as well, how much I like this restaurant, and make it a point, often to dine there, when I am in the city. In addition to that, I also commented upon how how rather tricky it was of the waiter to do that, and why, and by the time I had stated my case in full, which did not take that long, the manager said that he would take care of the bill, I was really quite shocked, for I told him, that I was not attempting to not have to pay for my meal, just the dessert, but he stated how important it is for him to have satisfied guests, and that he hopes to see me again. That was so nice! my god! I do continue to dine there, so far, so good.
