Blue Bayou Reservation Question

I have made a BB lunch reservation for our trip in 2 weeks. But reading the above makes me wonder about lunch vs. dinner here. We have a dinner res at Ariel's Grotto, but I'm starting to reconsider this vs BB. Do you all think that dinner or lunch is a better value and/or a better experience at BB? Would you recommend the PTN dinner package for a slower time (end of April) in the park?

Just make a reservation and you'll be fine. Walk ups don't work out well most of the time tho

For what it's worth we tend to do lunch almost every time since it's a great way to break up a long day during the busy time. The menu is slightly different, for example if you want the Monte Cristo you need to have lunch there. Menu's are online - https://disneyland.disney.go.com/dining/disneyland/blue-bayou-restaurant/menus/dinner/

You are very lucky! I want some of that luck next time I go! We use the exact same method and sometimes we get waterside- sometimes not. Always in water proximity though, placed in the 1/3rd of the dining area closest to water, which is still great, but not necessarily waterside.

How many people are normally in your party? That may be a factor.
