I really want...no, pardon, NEED to sit by the water but I have a party of 5 :sad1:. Is it possible to "reserve" 2 tables so that I might sit by the water? Or anyway one of you DISers can come up with that they'd let a party of 5 sit by the water? Maybe last "reservation" of the day? First? Or am I just going to have to suck it up and enjoy Blue Bayou without the water?

Ooooh, maybe I can "loose" DH in the crowds and eat without him? :rotfl2:

They have two tables by the water that seat 6. We have done it twice. That is why it is all the more important to get the PS and then show up early.

The best chance to get one of these is to make a PS right when BB opens at 11:30AM so that there is no one else at the tables. When you make the PS request waterside then when you check in at DL remind the CM you requested waterside. Everyone will tell you there are no guarantees so all you are doing here is improving your chances. Good luck. :)Q

Hydroguy Dude (I am NOT calling you wet ) you're the best! Once again you always have just knowledge I need.

Actually, if you make the request on the PS line they can't/won't note it for you so you just need to make sure you check in early and request it with the CM at the podium. Now, they will tell you your wait will be loooong (an extra 20-30 min is standard) but do it and you'll likely get seated faster than they say. :) Enjoy!!

The two times we did BB with PS we were able to request waterside when making the PS and when we checked in (early) they knew we had made the waterside request. Most recent time we did it was summer 2007. Maybe they have changed?

My family of 5 had PS at BB last year. The Disney Dining CM said to ask for waterfront seating when we checked in. Well, we did, had to wait about half an hour, and got a terrific table waterfront with a handsome waiter to boot!

:lmao: I think DH would have a problem if part of the waterfront package was a handsome waiter for all his girls to google at. Poor guy, he's out numbered. 6 girls to keep an eye on? :scared1:Yikes! :lmao:

When we ate at BB in summer 07 DBF made the waterside request, but when we tried again a few months later in 07 they said they don't do that anymore that now you make your request at check in. :) So yup, you've got old info HydroGuy. :) ;)

Oh man, I'll have to mention your 6 girls to DBF, he's always complaining about having 3 girls in the house...LOL Don't worry, we've had pretty waitresses as well as handsome waiters at BB. :)

Thanks. Good to know. :)

We're traveling with 6 girls, but we don't have 6 girls in our house. Only 4! :rotfl: I think DH would lock us all up if we had 6 girls in the house. When me and my bestie get together, it's like we're a GROUP of girls. I tell DH we're 30 which means we get to act like three 10 years olds! :rotfl:

LOL Got it. :) We had 4 girls in the house when DD21 lived at home, but now it's just the 3 of us. :) I was thinking your DH had strong nerves....LOL

We now have 5 girls (if you count me as a girl, LOL) living at my house because DD27 moved back in 'temporarily.' That was 8 months ago :rotfl: but I'm not complaining!!! I hope she stays a lot longer!! She cooks and watches the kiddos for me  Poor DH is the only dude. Even our pets are girls (1 cat, 1 dog, 2 rats, and 9 chickens). Oh, well, we do have 2 horses that are sort of male, so I guess dh can head for the pasture when the estrogen gets too thick.

:lmao: Our two dogs are female also! Too funny.

OMG, this thread is killing me.....we have 2 female and 1 female dog, the other dog is a male so he and DBF go outside together when they get overwhelmed....but then the little doggie goes outside so they still have a female in the mix! LOL
