Blue Bayou Desset Boat update

What is the Matterhorn Sundae? I don't remember that one.

There's a photo somewhere on the boards, it's got a bunch of ice cream and toppings on it. Just a nice big sundae that would be perfect for 4. I'll see if I can find the photo and link the thread for you. Pretty sure it's in one of the food porn threads.....

Same reason they (candy palace) don't even make their own fudge anymore, and other things are being made off site, and more and more will be... consistency. (I had a big chat with a castmember working there on our last trip about it) They are relying more and more on having things made for them, and so are at the mercy of the supplier. It is a real shame. :sad2:
On another note...I am really happy you get more vanilla creme brulee!! :woohoo: I always gave hubby the other ones... :thumbsup2
Imho....creme brulee is creme brulee...if you add chocolate or other flavor, then it just becomes chocolate or whatever pudding... :confused3

That is interesting information, seeing how not long ago Disney built on site and opened up a new bakery, where most of their confections are made. So I don't see any good reason why they should out source really anything. It is disappointing to know that Disney is creating less of their own edibles.

I'll say! the cast member said a lot of them were very downhearted about it, and kind of wondering what else would go the same way. I honestly don't know if the new bakery is where they make the fudge or not though...I didn't think to ask.

Hard to believe too, that something as simple I dare say as fudge, is no longer made on site? WOW, now that is really odd.

I know...I was trying to get my fix of candy cane fudge, and they didn't have any...she said they were waiting on a shipment to come in from their new supplier and because it was so close to the end of December, did not think there would be any more of that one coming in. I hope there is some left when we get there this time!!

I hope that your favorite fudge is there too, when you visit Dl. Candy cane fudge sounds very tasty.
OMG! The horror of it all! NO Capt. Jack, no cookie boat,no chocolate Brulee, and then no fudge. What next? .........

Lol.... seriously though....

I do, but for the life of me I have NO idea how to post a pic. I always cut, and paste, and I am not sure you can here on the boards, and I am photobucket dumb honestly I can't figure it out I know I know whats wrong with me. I have 2 weeks till I leave, and I am highly contemplating ordering a cake either themed ariel under the sea, Or something like a winter wonderland using cinderella, sleeping beauty, and belle as the focal points. I gotta make my mind up soon as I usually order from the grand. I have never ordered from the new bakery they just got. HELP!!!!! LOL. I usually order mickey krispie chocolate dipper ear treats, or tuxedo strawberries, and a pot of hot chocolate. 2 weeks to go, and I need to decide soon as it's a busy time for them, and I am cutting it close HELP!!!!!!:scared1:

Where in the Grand do you order the cakes from? Do you just call the hotel or a specific restaurant? That cake you ordered sounds really nice!
It's easy to cut and paste a photo from Photobucket. Look for the code that has the
tag after the link you pasted. Then your photo should show up.
I would order the winter wonderland cake since it's Christmas! :woohoo: Good luck on your decision.:goodvibes

Thats too bad about the cookie boat, I took the kids there for dinner on our trip last november and they dont remember a thing about the dinner itself, all they can remember was sharing the cookie boat. Its not the end of the world but it is a shame if it doesnt make an appearance again soon!
