Has anyone noticed there is a huge opening in the bathroom stall of the Blue Bayou men's bathroom when closed? It's more than a dime's width. It was extremely uncomfortable with people in there.

Can honestly say I have never seen the gap.. never been inside the mens room there.. men tend to get upset when I try and use their restroom...

I've noticed this too, yeah, its quite egregious.

Nobody is looking at your junk.

It's not a matter of people trying to check you out, it's that the stall (and the gigantic gap) is positioned directly in front of the door, so any unaware person who enters the bathroom is immediately confronted with a full frontal view you sitting on the john.

What did management and Guest Relations say when you brought it to their attention?

Although I have not dined at BB for a few years, now that you mention it -- Yes :lmao:

The stopgap fix is a long strip of TP hung with a piece of tape or chewing gum. Just sayin'...

An even better solution is don't use that stall (or bathroom). The one outside near the train station is rather close.

We ate there Friday night. While I didn't notice the gap in the stall... I did notice how many tables had a view of the hallway to the bathrooms and the women's room in particular.

There's a table just feet from the door. Ewww.

To me that door should be closed or they should have screen in front of it that you walk around. I couldn't imagine sitting at the table right there by the doorway and having the bathroom so close. Plus with the bright light from the hallway it ruins the ambiance of the dining room.

At work, we have metal strips that cover the gaps on all stalls, but most places don't want to shell out money for that.

Gap or no gap, however, no one wants to see people coming in and out of stalls while they are eating or just walking through a restaurant.

Maybe with some pirates doodled on it, so you're sticking with the theme

Gotta insist on those waterside seats

Its actually a big safety issue for children who may use the stall. I'm a law enforcement officer and I've arrested pedophiles who go into public bathrooms with micro video recorders to film kids in the stalls. Its sick but true.

I know its Disneyland and people want to forget about all the bad stuff in life and have a good time but you still have to consider these types of things and be proactive about safety. I'm honestly surprised Disneyland has not already considered the potential risk and remedied the situation. Southern California is unfortunately home to many sex offenders and our penal system does a poor job tracking these individuals upon release from prison

OP please write Disneyland and again and bring up the potential risk to children. Once they see the issue in writing I think they will fix it ASPA.

Thanks, Disney called me back and said they'd forward this to their 'facilities team'. I wonder what the chances are it'll be fixed? I guess I'll have to wait 3 years when I return to find out!

We'll be there in about 10 days and are having lunch at BB. I'll have DH take a "look" (sorry, couldn't resist) and report back if no one else has by then.

My husband reports that the gap is still there. He said it's pretty big, more than an inch, and definitely compromises one's privacy.
