BLT with June Use Year?

I recently decided I would like to purchase a smallish BLT resale contact (ideally 75 points, but up to 100 would probably be fine). Maybe I am just impatient (which I am), but it seems like there has been almost nothing come up for a June use year whereas I have seen multiple contracts with other use years (especially Dec) that were interesting.

I know use years aren’t always spread out evenly - does BLT just have really low inventory with a June use year, or should I see more pop up if I just wait it out?

The chart HERE actually shows that June was the second most common UY sold for BLT, at least as of 2018. At some point after that (I can't remember when) DVD gave itself the power to change the UY on points when they took them back via foreclosure or ROFR, so the distribution may have changed a bit since then.

Wouldnt get too hung up on a specific use year either, if you're in for the long haul what might be a great use year now could end up not being as good later. Casting a wider net will make it easier to find a contract that you are wanting quicker.

But this is just the typical thing that happens....when you're not looking for it you seem to see it a lot....when you are looking for it then you can't seem to find it anywhere.

Thanks! I do already have another contract with a June use year, which was the reason I was targeting it. Otherwise I really wouldn’t care much.

from what I hear, it is just kind of a pain to have multiple use years?

If you're going to use the points together regularly then it makes sense to keep the same. If they will be used for different reservations then it doesn't matter as much.

ha - I would agree BLT with a Dec UY seems solid! I’ve seen a couple options that I would have put offers on if I wasn’t trying to keep it simple by sticking with June.

And also agree always tougher to find what you are looking for - if I was looking for a Poly contract, I’d be golden!

There was a loaded 100 pt contract that was going for $160, Dec UY on the market over the weekend. Was debating whether or not to make an offer. When I decided I wanted to, it was gone already

I think that is the same one I saw that I was really tempted by!
