Any idea what floor rooms start on at BLT? My husband really wants to stay here some day, and we are even considering buying an add on contract here within the next year, but I can't take elevators. We will obviously have to do it on a trip when we have people with us, so he has help getting our 4 young kids and strollers up the elevator. But I know some hotels the resort rooms may not start for a few floors.
Based on pictures, it looks like they start on the second floor, which would be great. And I assume most people want higher floors for a better view, so hopefully we would have luck getting a low(ish) floor.
Anyone know for sure what floor they start on? And, if it matters, we would be staying in a 2 bedroom when the time comes.

They start on the ground floor. We have stayed 4 times and have been on the first floor twice. Keep in mind that the first and second floors are the standard view rooms, so are lower points, maybe 3rd floor too. Generally the standard view room are gone by the 11 month window.

BLT has rooms on the first floor. AFAIK, they are all standard view, which generally sell out before the 7 month window opens, so it's a good idea to buy there if you want to be sure of getting one. IIRC, there are no standard view rooms above the fifth floor, so stairs are probably doable no matter where they place you. A first floor room at BLT is not a popular request.

I suggest that you stay there before buying to check the place out.

Thanks for all the great replies!
And we will definitely be staying there before we seriously consider buying. I really have to check it out and see the staircases/etc before I can decide if I will be comfortable in such a high building.
