BLT Waitlist came through!

You can lift me up from the floor! We were waitlisted for either Standard View or Lake View dedicated 2 bedroom for Jan. 6 to 11, over the Marathon weekend.

This morning when I checked on line, we were still in a 2 bedroom and a studio at VWL. I just checked again (really, usually I only check once in the morning and once at night) and it has the 2 bedroom dedicated at BLT! There are 5 adults and 3 children, at VWL we really needed the 2 bedroom and studio, but there was only going to be DSis in the studio.

So, I didn't call, it didn't roll over at the end of the day, but all 5 nights became available today!

We are SO HAPPY! I think the location will be perfect for the DGC to view their DMom who is running in the 1/2 marathon!!!!

Wow, that's great to hear! Enjoy! Are you going to tell your DGCs that they're staying at BLT or surprise them? (although it seems to me that your excitement will be hard to hide)

Hey, even if the points are wrong it can be fixed. The most important thing is that the WL came through. We will be there in October. Not as large an accommodation as you, but we are still really excited. Congrats.

Wow, that's great to hear! Enjoy! Are you going to tell your DGCs that they're staying at BLT or surprise them? (although it seems to me that your excitement will be hard to hide)

I have already left a message with DS/DDiL! DSis in in Hungary on vacation, otherwise she would know already, too!

I did check and the points are correct. They used the points that were borrowed from '10 first, so I have 23 VWL points left to bank. We have a March UY and this stay is toward the end of the UY and so, we were even lucky that the waitlist came through with plenty of time left to bank the points.

Our wait list came through and we will be at BLT for Marathon Weekend as well. We stayed at the Contemporary for the Marathon last year and let me tell you, the Monorail to the start/finish is AWESOME....much better than the buses. Good luck in the 1/2...I'm doing the Goofy so I'll see her out there!

Great! I'm so glad to read that it really will be as good as I thought it would be. DDiL and I talked about her running it over a year ago, so this trip will have been 2 years in its planning. Delta just changed our flights, and not in a good way for us, so this change more than makes up for it. We'll deal with Delta somehow.
