BLT villa assignment???

Are villas at BLT handled by the same assigners---both cash reservations thru disney and reservations made with points thru DVC member services.

I have reservations at BLT for a total of 5 nights

Reservations on points:
1 night 11/25
3 nights 11/27-28-29

1 night 11/26, I had to get as a cash reservation thru Disney with an AP discount (it was less than thru member services with the DVC discount).

I thought I would fax a request to the assigner requesting we be assigned the same villa for the reservations on points and the cash reservation, but was not sure the assignment for DVC stays and cash was handled by the same folks.

Do you think faxing the request would help? I really would like to avoid moving several times. I understand I will need to "check in and check out" because of the different reservations.

None of the WDW Resorts will accept room requests sent by a fax.

Also room assignments for guests not staying Club Level are now done by a computer, so my best advice is speak to someone at DVC Member Services and the Disney Reservation Center to let them know your concerns. This way they can add a note to your reservation and the computer can see it when it will assign your room.

I would call Member Services with any requests you have for those nights and they will add them to your reservation.

Then I would call Disney Reservations with the same requests for the cash nights.

Your reservations can't be linked due to being made through DVC and then through Disney.

But at check-in, tell them you have a reservation on cash for whatever night that is and that you would prefer to stay in the same room. They may be able to work that out for you, although not guaranteed.
