Blt tpv studio waitlist?

Ok, so I booked a 1BR Lake view at BLT for our trip in June. All was well with the world.

Then my mom called and told me she would not be able to come. Me and the kids were bummed, but after talking to her I understood.

I decided that I could use the points rather than the space in the room and went to book a studio (My original plan) but wanted TPV for our first trip "Home" to BLT. Its a 26 point swing over the Lake View and I was OK with it.

NO AVAILABILITY FOR 2 NIGHTS.........

I booked the lake view, requested a even number room and waitlisted the TPV.

Does anybody have experience with waitlist for TPV, given two nights were gone? I should have changed the reservation earlier, but could not nail mom down until this weekend.

June is just now at the 7-month point. That can work both for or against you. Has your check-in date already passed? If so, others booking at the 7-month point have probably already jumped ahead of you in the waitlist line.

What works for you, though, is that there may be some BLT owners who have reservations at their home resort that they may switch out to something that becomes available at another resort now that they're within 7 months.

Aside from that, it's all a matter of how many people will change their plans between now and June. Just cross your fingers and hope for some pixie dust.
