BLT to 'Ohana

Wondering how much time to alot to get from BLT to 'Ohana for a 5:45 reservation? Planning on walking over to the Contemporary and taking the monorail. Never been to Disney before, so I have no concept of these things! TIA!

With the monorail running properly, I would say about ten minutes or so. You could also walk from BLT over the resort boat launches at Magic Kingdom and take the resort ferry to the Poly. That method takes a bit longer, denying on how fast you walk, but is a decent back up plan.

We have gone from BLT to other monorail resort restaurants multiple times and specifically to 'Ohana twice. If you have a 5:45 reservation, I would plan to be leaving your room by 5:00. You should be on a train within 10-15 minutes tops and the ride to the Poly is short with only one stop between Contemporary and Poly (TTC). As long as the monorail is running as normal you will be there in plenty of time.

I agree. I think that it is easy to underestimate the time needed to get from one resort to another when taking the monorail or the ferry boats. The trip is fast once you board, but it does take time. And you still need to ge to the restaurant to check in. I allow 45 minutes on monorail resort trips and generally am a bit early.
