BLT to Epcot for 8am AM EMH

To get to Epcot from a monorail resort (Contemporary/BLT) on a morning where Epcot opens at 8am for EMH (9am for everyone else), can I take the monorail? Or will the Epcot monorail not start running until 8am? If I want to arrive before 8am, can I take a bus, or do I have to drive/taxi? TIA
