BLT studio question

Thank you everybody! The allure to BLT for this trip is because of my 2 year old still in a stroller and being walking distance to MK. I hate getting everything out of the bottom of it to get on the trams, trying to make it fit in one of those thin tram rows (along with 2 kids, backpack, diaper bag, etc), collapsing that stroller to get in and out of the car, etc. We spend most time at MK. I'm really excited about the location . I feel much better now that I've heard some of your personal experiences. And if we're crowded, so what - we're at Disney World!! Woo hoo! Beats being at work every time! I think collapsing the couch is a great idea and will help too. Thanks DIS friends!!

I'm sorry, but that is the tackiest thing I have every heard of.
Awww, come on Deb...it's not all that bad!!! I've used the curtain at Pop before..not that awful. And besides, who is going to see it other than the family??? I mean really...I think I have a fair amount of class and good breeding, but I have hung a curtain up in order to get a bit more privacy in my rooms at WDW. And I was going to suggest that earlier.

I usally disagree with Deb about the 'roominess' or lack thereof, at BLT in a studio. We stayed in one just a year ago..had plenty of room. It was myself, my dd who stands 6'4'' and my 17 y/o dd at 5'10''. Dd and I shared the bed, dh took the sleep sofa. When he got up and went in to shower, I closed up the sofa bed. Otherwise, it was a tad cramped in there. I did think the storage was very plentiful. And I was one who didn't really mind that sink area in the kitchen. But, it will be nice to have a sink in the bathroom itself..you really should have one there to wash up after using the facilities.
But, in this case, 3 adults and two kids, one in a pack and play, it's going to be really cramped. I remember thinking that there was no good place for a crib in a studio and wondered how families with a baby would manage. So, be prepared. It's going to be cramped in there. Have to agree with Deb on this one, but not about the curtain!!

The pack'n'play fits perfectly by the connecting door so it doesn't block anything. Stroller parks nicely in the kitchenette area too at night.

If the OP only wants somewhere to sleep she will be fine and let's face it the location can't be beat for MK with a stroller :goodvibes

My issue with that area is that I wouldn't want to worry about my youngster being woken up due to noise from the next room, or my child's crying to bother the people next door. I hate rooms/villas with connecting doors, unless we have family staying on the other side.

Wow ..:scared1:

The putting of a privacy curtain is a very good idea if privacy is of concern. It takes mere seconds to put up so doesn't need to be kept in place at all times if not wanted.

Your reply is one of the rudest things I have ever heard of!

Seriously!

You will be fine, I did not think there was a lack of space at all. You sound like us, not spending a lot of time in the room, just need to sleep there! Have fun!

Yup!We did not complain. :) We have also stayed in the ded 2br in 7216. :thumbsup2

I would love to stay in a two bedroom at BLT. We just stayed for 2 days until moving into a 2 bedroom at OKW. It was our 1st stay at BLT. We instantly fell in love with it. :lovestruc:lovestruc
