Our 7 month window just opened today to book BLT, so we are now booked for a Bay Lake view studio beginning October 12 for 7 nights. After that, we are moving to the BWV for 6 nights in a 1BR, yahoo!! I have been wanting to stay at BLT since I first saw it, but now I am having second thoughts and need some reassurance. Did we make a big mistake by leaving BWV? I know that the location is awesome at BLT, so that is not my issue. I am worried that by looking at the pics of the BLT studio that it is going to be super super tiny and cramped- even if it is just the two of us. We did not get a chance to tour the studio set up at SSR, so I am hoping that someone who did will be able to reassure me. I do think the kitchen/vanity layout is a little odd, but I think I can live with that by "getting ready" in front of the other mirror in the living space. Sorry this is so rambling, I am just nervous I guess

The kitchenette/bathroom sink is very strange to me. We don't do studios, so I won't have to be bothered with this one. But it would be strange to be making coffee, preparing something to eat in the microwave at the same time my husband was shaving/brushing his teeth. It's very narrow between the sides.

I got the MK view studio... so i'll be hanging around the balcony , so i wouldn't even care what the inside is like.

I just saw the models on Tuesday. The studio did not feel too cramped. It was fine. However, if this really bothers you, why not reduce your stay at BLT and then go over to BWV. You are staying at Disney for 14 nights. I would think anyplace you book would seem a little cramped after that long. Good luck. I think it is great that you are giving BLT a try. The location is awesome. We walked to MK in little or no time!

I'm glad to hear the studio seemed fine to you! I'm sure that most of the time we will be in the room we will either be getting ready in the morning, or spending time on the balcony, so it shouldn't be a problem. Plus I guess our view should be nice so hopefully we will be able to keep the blinds open, which will make it feel even bigger. The only reason we are spending 7 nights at BLT and 6 at BWV, is because we are staying in 1BR at BWV which takes a boatload of points. We would be fine in a studio at BWV for the second half, but with the F&WF going on, this was all we were able to get when we booked without waitlisting.

the set up is different.

the bathroom sink and the kitchenett are basically the same room.

so fixing your make up or doing your hair while cooking - could get upsetting.

just make sure you have time to separate your tasks and you should be fine.

be sure to put all the food away - so when you fix your hair - no food will be given the chance to get hair in it.

it has enough places to put food - so that should not be a worry.

really think will love BLT!!!

We are staying in a LV studio in September for 4 nights. We were able to tour the models at SSR and I thought that they felt more spacious than the other studios that I have seen. (If I remember right, they have more square footage, but I am not completely sure on that.) The thing that I really liked about the models for both the studio and 1 BR at BLT was the pull out pantry. It seemed like there was more room for food storage, which I thought was a problem in the 1 BR at SSR. I say try it and see if you like it. You will never know for sure unless you experience it for yourself and you will still get to stay at BWV the following week. Enjoy your trip!

I'll agree with you on that one. That pull out pantry was a nice touch.

Actually BLT's studios are the second smallest - only AKV's value studios are smaller.

I think the studio is big enough for 2 people to enjoy. And the location/restaurants/monorail at CR are all worth enjoying!

Thanks for the clarification, I could not remember for sure! :)
