BLT Std Studio Room Request

So excited about our first stay here the first week of June! We will be checking in late, around 7pm, so I'm not sure we'll even have a choice at that point. We really aren't concerned with the view, but we would like a room close to exit or stairwell so we can quickly walk to and from MK, and that is relatively quiet for sleeping. Any recommendations?

BLT isn't that big/wide like BWV. There are two sets of elevators so the walk to either one is not too far. You can call member service at DVC and make sure your request is noted on your reservation but of course you know there is no guarantee. Ask again at check in as sometimes they can move you if someone else has not checked in yet. (first come first served) Even when we have gotten a far end room it isn't that big a deal. Have fun and enjoy yourselves.

We had a ground floor room in Jan. It was a few steps from the exit door to the side of the lobby. It was great in terms of how quickly we can get out or even get to the monorail (close to elevators). However, at night we can hear the water parade music. It was somewhat loud around 10pm. With that said, I believe all the standard rooms are lower level so I don't think you'll be able to escape it!

If you are really close to the exits then you are also close to the elevators and those rooms tend to be a little louder so I don't know that both of your room requests can be met with any room. You probably need to decide what is more important. There are not very many rooms on any given floor so even the walk from one end of the building all the way to the other is only about 2-3 minutes and no one has to go that far to an exit door.
