BLT - Room 8230

We just returned and stayed in room 8230. This is a dedicated 2 bedroom MK view. While this room doesn't look directly to the castle it does have a nice view of a lot of things. You look at the seven seas lagoon with the Grand Floridian across the lagoon. You can see the contemporary resort and the monorail going inside it. You can see the contemporary's pool as well as some of the bay lake. You can see the fireworks from MK, but keep in mind even though it looks like the fireworks are behind the castle while you are in the park watching them, they are actually over space mountain while you are watching them from Bay Lake Tower. So if you can see space mountain, you will be able to see the fireworks. From our room #8230, we could see Epcot's and Hollywood Studio's fireworks, too.

The only thing, inside the room, is that the master bathroom shower drips. There are two spouts and the one above you, in the ceiling, drips cold water while you are using the other one. It is very annoying trying to take a warm shower and getting dripped on with cold water. The only thing you could do is turn on this spout and you will get dripped on with warm water instead of cold water. Other than that the room was great. It fit our family of 7 perfectly. Everyone had their own bed, only 2 boys had to share. I have two teenage daughters and they were excited to have their own bathrooms to get ready in. And I didn't have to see their mess.

Nice to know that a family of seven were comfortable in this 2 BR. It's funny that the upper shower head drips when the lower one is in use. Thanks for the report.

I had posted this same thing from our trip back in August (1st floor, 1BR). Guess it wasn't unique to our room

So it seems like this is a common thing?! I always thought that this would be a neat thing to put into our shower at home, but now I know I will never put in one of these. It was just annoying for the time we were there, but I don't think I could of lived with something like that.

LOL Still here in a 1st floor 2 bedroom.... and yes this one drips too ! lol... I am aiming the water spray to the side so I don't get dripped on while showering !
