BLT questions

I'm sure this is here somewhere but here goes...
when can DVC members call to reserve at BLT if their "home" is elsewhere and what's the date they expect it to be open and are accepting reservations for? Thanks

February 22nd for non-members to book and the opening date of the resort is August 4th.

arriving 8/5 and wondering if I'll be able to get in. Keeping my fingers crossed. What do you think will happen if I am able to book and the resort is not ready?

I don't think they would have opened it up to make reservations if it wasn't going to be ready.

It would cause massive confusion for not only the people who were at BLT and would have to be moved, but those that are using BLT points elsewhere.

Your chances of getting something are probably good, depending on what you want.

I added on there last week because I wanted to be able to book the first weekend in December for my husband and I and wanted to get the 2/8 booking advantage. But I have read that people that called all this week have had no issue getting in.
