BLT parking for my guests?

I have some friends staying off property while we're there. We are staying at BLT. We are spending one day together and they have their car.
Could they park at BLT and then ride Disney transportation with us for the day and then leave the BLT parking lot at the end of the day?

Will BLT let them park there? If not what other option do they have?

Per Disney on resort parking [link]: "Complimentary standard self-parking is available while enjoying select dining, shopping, entertainment, and recreation experiences at Disney Resort hotels. "

So if they are doing those things with you, then yes, they can receive complimentary parking. If they are coming to go with you to the parks, then no, complimentary parking is not offered. They can however utilize valet parking. Another option would be for you to get a parking pass for a single night for their car, but you will be assessed a $25 charge.

We park there when we drive every visit..just to look around. Never an issue. Especially if you are dining...We just wanted to check it out. We parked and returned a while later.

I think if they were staying like 12 hours i would say yeah..just pay to park.
Disney policy states...dining our shopping etc. There isn't really a timetable on that. Doesn't sound like a whole day visit.

Then they would have to pay. No need for that. You can park at the resort but also if you wanted you could also park at Disney Springs and monorail it.

Of course they have to pay. It sounds like they are meeting the OP to go to the parks. If that is so, they are not allowed to park at the resort.

They didn't specify. I was just saying..you CAN park at the Contemporary..or any resort. And shop, eat or whatever. There is no time limit. If there is..its never been enforced for us. Sometimes we only stay an hour....others it's longer. The OP didn't say how long. So no I would not pay to park for a few hours visit. We only use Disney transport to goto Parks. But to visit resorts.....We just drive. Park days..the van stays.

Are you staying on DVC points? If so, could you add one of their names to your reservation for the day? That way, their parking would be included in the price that you are paying in either points or cash to rent the points.

OP asked if they could park there and use Disney transportation. They want to park free which they cannot since they will be leaving the BLT.

I don't mind having to pay, just wondering if there would be room for there car for the day. If they should park at TTC and then monorail over, then they can do that too. We will be spending some time at the resort and some time doing other things like golfing.

I would ask once I checked in. If the answer is “no, they can’t park here” then suggest the TTC or valet at BLT to your friends. Have fun on your trip!

They can pay to valet park, this way there are no issues.
