BLT - Models are OPEN - Photo Tour!

Thanks for all the great info. At 14 it looks like all the GVs would be on the outside of the “C”. For the 295 2br count there would be 4 on the 15th floor. There were indications that there was an “exterior” door on the second floor (16th floor) of the GVs looks like this is more likely and give direct access to whatever viewing/eating, lounges are at the rear of the 16th floor.

If the 428 total villas is correct and all studios and 1br are lock-off type that would mean 14 GV, 176 dedicated 2br 119 1br and 119 studios (capable of being combined to be a lock-off 2br). Seams like a lot of dedicated 2br. Do any of the experts know how this ration compares to other resorts

I guess I will have to go back and redo my total points and gross $ calculations.

Thanks again

Doc, thank you so much for taking your vacation time to post the photos and answer our questions!

I have another for you...any indication where the "standard view" villas are located?

Love the pullout pantries in both the studio and 1Br.

Here is an image from the prospectus of the proposed lobby for BLT:

Thanks for the great info and pictures!

When you say there are two bathrooms in the 1BR, does this mean there are two showers? Or is one more like a 1/2 bath with just toilet and sink?

Is there a floor plan anywhere? The ones I saw in the rumour threads were too small to make out that detail (at least for me, maybe others could tell).

Thanks

No, both are full bathrooms with toilet/tub/vanity in the entryway bath and jacuzzi/shower/toilet/vanity in the master bath - although the vanity is in the area adjacent to the toilet/shower.

In the studio, there is no vanity in the bathroom - only a tub and toilet. The vanity is in the next area with the kitchenette.

Photos of the Floor plans from the prospectus have already been added in the post above.

Where are the models located? We are going to the World in a few weeks, and I would love to pop in and see them. Thanks!

Doc, thanks so much for all the great info. and PHOTOS! We are more excited than ever to be founding members! Glad you got to see it all first hand!!

We will also be there next week and were told we can go to the sales center at SSR and ask for a tour? Do you know where that is, hours, etc.??

Thanks so much for the fabulous photos. I love the decor, its bright and cheery and I just can't wait to stay there!!

They are located in the building formerly the Cinema. The AKV models are also in the same building. You should check in at the Sale Center and they will escort you to the models. They are not really open for unaccompanied walk-ins. They are definitely worth a peek! We were there a little after 9am and they were able to take us over. I think the member Open House is still from 5-7pm (they will have CMs available to answer questions in the models) but other times will need to escorted.

Thanks for the pictures!

I hope to see the models for my new home resort in person during our trip next month.

Doc thanks so much for the report and photos ! Much appreciated.

Thanks also Jennie for posting the info on the amount/views of the GV's (not that I could ever afford one of those  )

Great photos Doc! The BLT rooms totally remind me of the cartoon The Jetsons! :rotfl:

Super work, Doc! Thanks so much.

I especially appreciate the pictures of some of the pages from the prospectus. One thing seems odd, however: for the Grand Villa, they say that it sleeps up to 12, but with 4 queen size beds (8 people), a king size (2 more), a queen size sleeper sofa downstairs (2 more), and a double size sleeper sofa upstairs (2 more) doesn't that add up to 14? :confused3

For some reason, the rooms remind me of Prime Time 50's!

Debbie....my dh said something similar----but he compared them to the Sci Fi Diner ! :rotfl:
I am still interested though......

Doc, thank you so much for posting the photos and your impressions of the villas! I am even more excited than I was before -- this is definitely the perfect DVC home for our family. :goodvibes

Your pics are very helpful. One thing I noticed that bothered me in the promo materials is that I don't see a bit of chrome furniture. I like this much better.

Thanks for the inside peek.
