whoah, wait a minute. Specific room views at BLT "cost" extra in points than others do. How is that simply a "request?"

to the OP, were you refunded the difference in points on your failed request?

Yes, there are booking categories at BLT and if you reserve a LV room, you will get a LV room.

But, the OP was talking about a request to be in a LV room in a specific area of BLT and that didn't happen. In those cases, a request is just that.

For example, I am going to BLT next month and will be in a SV studio. I "requested" to have an even # room facing the parking lot. When I get there, however, I might not get that and instead, get one facing the back of the resort. As long as the room I am in is classified, SV, I am getting what I reserved.

I will definitely go with what you're saying, I didn't quite get the distinction in the OPs post... I mean I wasn't sure which category her request fit in from her writing.
