BLT in 19 Days!!!

So excited for this trip!

This will be our 4th DVC trip, all renting points, and all in a one bedroom

We are excited for the following reasons for BLT:

-2 Bathrooms!
-Walk to MK (we have a 6 and 7 year old)
-Dining at all monorail resorts (V&A, Cali Grill, Ohanas, 1900 PF, etc)
-hoping to secure a partial MK view even though we have a LV booked

Also, excited for th trip in general bc of

-DD and DS are over 42 inches now, so new rides like Space Mountain
-Waterparks! Doing both this time each for first time
-SPA at GF and V&A on Mommy Daddy Day!

Help me celebrate!!!!

Sorry to be Debbie Downer, but the height requirement for Space Mountain is 44", not 42". It will still be a great trip, though! We spent 8 nights in a 1 BR at BLT last month and LOVED it Have fun!

This trip has special meaning to me because I planned it back in September, when I entered a treatment program for alcohol and drugs, which I have now graduated from!

Made it just about 8 months now and one of my goals was to go to Disney BLT style

Over on Tour Guide Mike, I put up a post about 30 days in and you wouldnt believe the support I found there

It has been more than a life changing experience and well you know the rest.....

Ill definately report back!


(btw the kids are 46' and 47' inches.....I was using 42' as a reference because they were under 42' 2 years ago and we missed out on some rides, like the good ones...lol)

Just stayed at BLT in April...loved it...

Remember if BLT is crowded in afternoon, just go over to the Contemporary Pool, there is actually two pools over there, plus splash zone and slide. Walk along the water, you go down the steps by the marina and up again, it quicker then following path that brings you by the CR. My boys would go back and forth between the two.

Make sure you check out the Community Hall. The staff is great there. The boys can do a ceramic project while there. Also, arcade is over in CR, it is a lot of fun.

Congratulations on graduating from your program and what an awesome way to celebrate!!
We love BLT (of course we own there too)! Lake view is what we prefer, so peaceful to sit on the balcony. Check out the electric light parade at night on the water! BLT also has movies on the beach for the family. We love taking boat rides to VWL and the Ft. to check out the resorts, very relaxing. 9 nights, jealous!!! Enjoy your family time it is priceless.

We're going to be at BLT at the same time but we are staying in a studio this time, I am hoping we get a room near our previous 2 bedroom villa... we had a standard and awesome views of the fireworks. We were thrilled.
