BLT End of October?

Hi. I was wondering what it was like to stay at BLT at the end of October 2012. My DD (and I!) and hubby really want to go to MSSSHP, since we have never been before. Will it be really crowded, and also will the temperatures be reasonable? I realize also that it will be during the F and W at Epcot. We have only been to Disney during the hot months of July and August. Will we be pleasantly surprised? This will be our second trip as DVC members. The first one in July was magical!! (even though it was very hot and humid... it seemed better than at August the previous year). Also there were alot of BTG's around, which we didn't mind. How are the crowds in general, as compared to July? I ended up calling MS yesterday at my 11 month window, and booked a deluxe studio MK view for our surprise long weekend Oct. trip! TIA!

We have not been in October but we do go in early November and it is great! The weather was perfect in the upper 70's to low 80's and the crowds were not too bad. I would go to F&W on the weekdays as the locals go on the weekends and it is more crowded. We are hoping to go at the same time next year. You will love it!

The weather in October can be as perfect as it gets for Florida. The temperatures are still warm enough for swimming but the humidity has dropped off and gentle breezes start.

Crowded? Depends on when you go to the special events. FWF is JAMMED at the weekends, so visit during the week. You shouldn't have too much trouble then.

MNSSHP? Pick a day mid week again, to have smaller attendance. The closer you get to Halloween the more busy it will be at the party, too. :yes:

I havent stayed at BLT yet(Jan 27) but, stayed at AKV last oct and the weather was amazing!not one drop of rain in 7 days! Even with F and W, EPCOT was great during week. The weekend, avoided EPCOT. But, MNSSHP was crowded, of course. All parks were at a crowd level of like a 3-4 out of 10 all days. Love oct! As a matter fact, Im trying to nail down our Oct 1-7 or 3-10 as we speak.
