BLT December UY

If I choose a December UY this means I get my first points Dec. 1, 2009, correct? I know I can't use the points until BLT opens in September but when that happens can I then book using my points even though I don't have them yet? That would be borrowing, right?

It wouldn't be borrowing to book a stay between Dec 1, 2009 and Nov 30, 2010 as that would fall within your 2009 UY.

If you wanted to book a vacation for September, 2008, then you would need to borrow.

It's not when you book your vacation, but when you take your vacation that matters.

yes, you can use points from your Dec 09 use year at BLT from Sept 09 opening through Nov 09. The technical term is not borrowing since you don't actually have points yet, but it works out in the same way.
