BLT Day Trip Advice on Character Outlets

My wife and are will be staying at BLT and have always wanted to visit one of the outlets stores that sell Disney merchandise. This trip we are going to do that but we only wanted to visit one outlet. Of the two outlets which one is the best?

We will also be driving to the outlet from BLT and then be heading to Port Canaveral for a Cruise? Are both outlets on route or close to being on route?

We usually stop at the one at the Premier Outlet mall. It often has Cruise Line stuff as well.

I don't have exact directions, but you can google it. It's not too far out of your way to the Port. The other one's quite a bit further North on International Drive and it would seem to be out of your way.

The Premier Outlet malls are about 3 or 4 miles away from Downtown Disney just on the other side of the Interstate. We usually visit it one evening rather than waiting until we leave for the Port. Not sure what time it opens, but it's probably 10:00 am. We find it easier to head out to I-5 and go North to the last DTD exit (just past the casting building). You simply go straight at the intersection off the exit ramp and the Premier Outlets will be on your right after about a mile.

My family and I always visit both the Disney outlets stores at the Premium Outlets and Prime Outlets. Personally during our past few trips I have found more merchandise in terms of clothes and pins being sold at their location in the Prime Outlets, although we have bought a few things at their store in the Premium Outlets. However each person will always find something different at the stores, so it really depends on your personal taste and what your looking to purchase.
