BLT- bringing guests

My BIL and DN will be meeting us in our room at BLT one night to watch Wishes. My question is can we take them down to the pool or beach area to watch EWP or are those areas off limits to non resort guests?

We just returned from BLT on 7/3/12 and we had friends visit us also. We took them to the beach to watch the EWP. We asked the CM that was in the lobby of BLT and he said it's not a problem.

Not sure if your BIL/DN are staying on Disney property but if they drive to BLT, have them tell the guard that they are meeting you as you are a guest at BLT. The guard will ask for your last name just to be sure. This is what our friends did as well. No problem. They were given a three hour parking pass as well.
