BLT, boy those studios are tight!

Never really been interested in staying at BLT, but today I thought I would give it a look. I was impressed by the pool area, very nice and I love how they have the trees and such back there. But boy, those studios are tight! Disney really cut those down in size. I really didn't realize they were that small. Are they the smallest of all of them?

Looks like they did the same with CCVs. Wow, look at OKW, I wonder if they regret the size of those?

OKW was the first resort built. Disney wasn't sure that DVC was going to work, so they made the sizes of the rooms big enough to be considered regular hotel rooms. That's why OKW has 2 Queen beds in the studios.

I really like the bathroom and the kitchenette set up in the BLT studios. Yes they are small, but I never feel “bad” about staying there. We own there particularly for the black out dates, July 3 and December 30. When we are staying in something larger than a studio, I do like having the extra bathroom. Plus, the Community Room has been a hit with children who come with us.

I also love the BLT studio set up. To each their own.

Most of it is because they devoted part of the living area towards a galley kitchenette. The bathroom is good size, the kitchenette can be very nice to have and all of BLT has decent sized and consistent balconies.

OKW is not my favorite even if it's larger. I like 2 real beds but otherwise the layout is awkward IMO. BLT has really grown on me since they moved the bathroom sink into the bathroom and out of the kitchen. I don't think it's for 4 adults but I'd never do that if possible in any studios so it's not a compromise for us.
