BLT booking while on cruise

Hi all -

I'm going to be on the Dream when my window to book at BLT comes up. I have the 1st half of our trip booked already as BLT is one of our home resorts, but I have to use some of our SSR pts to get the last couple days.
I don't really want to make a super expensive long distance call from the ship, but I don't want to wait till I get off the ship since I can't be as flexible as we normally are.
Recommendations for how to make sure I get these days booked? Will the DVC staff on the Dream be able to help me?

Pay for internet and book yourself from the ship or send MS an email requesting the reservation on the day your window opens. (You would need to be specific about what you wanted and what points you want to use, especially if you will be borrowing) and also if you wanted to waitlist or not. Also, I do not think you can send the email in advance, but only on the day the window opens.

You could give your info to a trusted friend to call MS on your behalf. If the friend is also a DVC member, he or she could book online for you if you provided your info.

AFAIK, the staff on board the ship cannot help you. But it wouldn't hurt to ask.

I'm sure the on-board staff would be delighted to help you. If you add on 100 or more points while onboard, you can expect a good deal of helpfulness and a secured reservation. With an add on of 50-99 points, you can expect some helpfulness and a likely-to-come-through waitlist request. With an add on of 49 or fewer points, signs point to no on helpfulness
