BLT at 7 months

I know this type of question has been asked often in the past, but I'm curious if anyone has been successful at booking BLT at 7 months.

Our home resort is AKL and we love the resort. We will be booking a trip for Sept 2011 at AKL and trying for a one bedroom MK view at at the 7 month window. Trying to decide if I should stop dreaming or if it is worth a shot.

I am staying at BLT next week on a reservation I made at 7 months. I booked a 2 br at BCV for a week at 11 months and than changed the last 3 nights for BLT at 7 months. I did not try to get a mk view, I have a lake view.

I think the standard and mk views may be difficult to get. But the lake view will be available most times Good Luck

I got BLT for November at 7 months. I think standard view may be hardto get. If you are ok with lake view and as long as it is not a peak time you may be ok.

I think for Sept, you have a good chance of your wait-list coming though if it's not available when you call at 7 months out.

One bedrooms are probably the easiest. Maybe, you will get lucky with the MK view.

I booked a 1 bedroom at our home resort of SSR for our November trip at the 11 month mark. I called exactly at our 7 month mark and I was able to change our reservation to a 1 bedroom, standard view at BLT .

There is a possibility but you are looking at booking a very small category of rooms and 1-bedrooms are more popular than studios at BLT due to the size of the studios. I think based on the thread that shows the rooms and views that there are about 18-20 1 bedroom MK rooms (that is if 3rd floor is still considered MK view).

Had no problem getting a 1BR at 7 months for our July 2010 trip.

Ours was a "Lake View" room, but we could see more of MK than we could of the lake....GREAT ROOM!

I got a 1 bedroom LV at the 7 month window for this past May (first week). There were no other views available when I called right at the 7 month mark. For my Oct. 31st reservation I have a 2 bedroom standard view, which I called at the 11 month window. I have a small contract with BLT and only use it when I need the 11 month window.

We had no problem getting a 1BR lake view at 7 months for our Sept/Oct 2010 trip

We were able to get 1 br lake view twice at 7 months. Once in late August and once during prime season Easter week. It can definitely be done.

I think you have good chance to get a BLT villa at the 7 month mark at this time, because many more units have been declared (86%) than have been sold (64%). That's 22% of the villas that probably will not be booked by BLT owners. When it gets closer BLT being sold out then you might have more problems getting a villa at the 7 month mark.

I was able to book LV studio @ 7 month mark for 5 nights begining 10/3waitlisted for MKV (it could still happen) and same for 2nd week of Dec. last year for 5 nights for my kids.

I was happy to see this thread. My parents just booked 9 of us at our home resort OKW today for June 2011. Right now we have 7 adults and 2 kids in a 2BR at OKW. The MS person said we might be able to get one of the renovated rooms with the sleeper chair, otherwise it's an air bed for the youngest adult!
We are hoping to move to BLT at 7 months because of the third bathroom. Wondered if anyone else had experience with 9 in a 2 BR.

I was able to book a lake view 1 br at 7 months and then added another night last week for our feb trip. I didn't even try putting us on a mk view d/t points.
