I tried for any studio at BLT.....very busy time though.

4/21-4/24. None available.

Yesterday I tried too from 4/21-4/25. No luck. They only had the night of 24th open.

I booked a 1 bedroom at our home resort of SSR for our November trip at the 11 month mark. I called exactly at our 7 month mark and I was able to change our reservation to a 1 bedroom, standard view at BLT .

This is exactly what I did! We are going Nov.12-19.
There were no MK views avail. when I called, though.

Yikes...I called back and got the studio BLT LV Th 4/22- 4/24. I am booked at AKL kidani for the 1st night.....I might call and try to waitlist the 1 night 4/21. We are coming in from cruise that day so it won't be the worst thing in the world to arrive at kidani and just hang at resort all day to fully enjoy and not go to the parks. Eat dinner at Sanaa.

This is great to hear! I can't afford to purchase at BLT to make it my home resort. So it's encouraging to see that it is possible to get a reservation at BLT at 7 months.

I got a two bedroom standard view at the 7 month mark for April 2-9, 2011.

Had no problem getting a room at 4 months for feb for four nights, now holiday seasons that is another story. But yeah there are lots of openings at non peak times here and there.

I know this type of question has been asked often in the past, but I'm curious if anyone has been successful at booking BLT at 7 months.

And if you use the "Search Forum" tool, you will see that plenty of people have been happy to report that they have had no problems.

Last November we were able to secure 2 studios for March 2010 with no problem - only 4 months out.

Book your home resort at 11 months just to be safe, then switch at 7 months.

We are checking into BLT next week. I called at the 7 month for a 8 night stay in a studio and got lake view and was put on wait list for magic kingdom view which has not come through yet even though I called at 7 month mark.

Last week I put in a request for 3/25 to 3/28. Was waitlisted for 3/26. It came through yesterday or late Saturday. So I have a LV Studio.

Booked our Nov 19 trip at 7 months out without a problem. Booked a 1BR with lakeview.

When I booked a 1 bedroom at BCV last month at the 7 month window for April 2011, I had my choice of every room category at BLT and at all other resorts. While I would have loved to get a MK view, I didn't want to waste my points on something I am not sure we would need. We are night people in the parks and would love to see the fireworks at MK from a room at BLT or the lounge, we probably would be at some other park or at MK itself during that time. So, I think your chances are good that you will get what you want.
