BLT and fireworks viewing

Anyone have information on the DVC members being able to watch fireworks from special viewing area on roof of BLT? I thought I saw something mentined about it but can not remember the details. Any help would be appreciated

No guarantee that members staying at BLT will have access but it's possible
( maybe answer to this is one of those DVC 'best kept secrets' ? )

DVC has not say - as of yet -how this will work. if you have to stay a certain amount of days to get a chance. if everyone checking in gets a chance - no matter how long their stay. or if they are leaving it up to the front desk at CR.

if they are leaving it up to CR - then expect non-blt guests to be there. CR will definitely add their CL to it if they can.

so far nothing is say. Hoping it would say on the reservation - but so far nothing.

hoping we get to use it for at least a year - but not counting on it. If disney can rent it - they will.

it does not look good for us kepting it.

besides the wedding pavillion and the MK - castle - there is not alot of places near the MK for a bigger wedding.

little ones yes - bunch of places. but for one over 50 people - not many. So it depends upon the capacity of this thing.

while Epcot has a bunch of places for big crowds.

Thanks for the link to the thread. It looks like hope for the best but not to count on it. I am sure it would be very popular to rent out.

I hadn't seen that thread either, thanks for the link. We bought at BLT and it specifically states in the contract that the viewing area is NOT part of membership at BLT, so to make sure we get to see the show we booked a MK view room. I understand that the sound track will be available on your television?!? but not 100% sure of that!
