We have an upcoming trip to BLT in a 1BR. It will be my husband & myself and three teenage boys. We are within the occupancy limits, but if two boys don't want to share the sofa/sleeper, will there be room for an air mattress in the living area, along with the sofa sleeper & sleeper chair folded out?

Yes, there will be room for an air mattress, although you can also put it in area near front door.

I'd say it would be pretty tight but doable, depending on the size of the air mattress. A twin would be preferable. You'd have to move the furniture a bit, but I'm sure you could make it work. The sofa sleeper isn't ideal for two people but it is perfectly manageable. In a two bedroom at BLT, we've had two adults share the sleeper in the LR before. They said it wasn't too comfortable but otherwise fine. But I have teen boys as well and know they wouldn't be too happy with it if there was another option.

Thanks! We have a twin air mattress - so as long as that will fit - I think that will work. Our son, could have it in our BR if there wasn't enough room, but I feel certain, he'd rather be in the LR with his friends instead of in the snoring room with his parents!

I looked at some BLT 1BR tours on You Tube, some rooms seemed a little larger than others - but as long as it fits - we'll be fine. We've done it in a 1 BR at Kidani - but those rooms are huge!

Overall square footage is similar for Kidani and BLT in the larger villas. At BLT the even numbered rooms (on the outer side of the "C") have more space in the living area. While you should be able to fit the airbed in odd numbered also it will be easiest in an even numbered room. The odd numbered rooms have laundry rooms that get more of the space allocation - and some have reported using airbeds there for their kids. The even numbered just have laundry in a closet and more useable space in the living area.

Yes, it depends on the room at BLT - depending on the location, I've found some have much bigger living rooms than others. We typically get a Lake view room but got a Theme Park view room in July and the LR was far larger than we're used to. The washer/dryer was in a small closet vs. in a nice sized laundry "room," which seemed to account for providing some extra space in the LR. I can't speak to whether that is true of all theme park view rooms, but maybe someone else will know for sure.

I guess that confirms what I suspected in my PP! I had never realized the difference in space even after several stays here, probably because we've always been inside the "C" until recently. Good to know now.

The sleeper sofa in the living room is queen sized. Not really all that bad for two people in most cases.

We put a twin air mattress in the kitchen area during a trip a few years back. Plenty of room and no furniture had to be moved.
