blockout day question

We will be taking a trip when we will have to deal with a blockout day for the deluxe annual pass for the first time. We want to go on a Saturday that is an early entry day (we're staying at a resort hotel). How early do the ticket booths open since I read we have to purchase the blockout day ticket on that day (not in advance)?

I think your hotel can help you with blackout passes, ask when you check in. otherwise I think the ticket booths open an hour before the park does. You might also be able to buy one from guest services outside the parks but I don't know, the only time we bought 1 was when we stayed offsite so we didn't get MM anyway. We just waited in line at the ticket booth for them that day.
