Blocked Hotmail Email Account

Anyone know how i can get my Hotmail account unblocked? Sent a request form to them and have not heard from them for three days. I am desperate to get my account back. Anyone have any expierience with this?

Something must be going on, two friends had e-mailed me this week saying they had to open new accounts because they were block. one also mentioned his account might have been hackered & he said don't open any e-mails coming from his hotmail account.

Try changing the password. Useing the forgot password button.

Mine was inaccessible as it had been hacked and was being used to tell anyone on my address list that I was stranded in England and needed money sent via Western Union immediately! Fortunately another email address of mine was sent this message so I was aware what was going on. Did hotmail block it for some reason or you just can't get in with your password any more? There was a place on their site to request having your password reset. I emailed them, like you have done, and it took several days for them to reply and via that email was able to enter a new apssword (I couldn't do this myself as the hackers ahd changed the password so I had no idea what the current one was). I remember having to provide info as to what mail folders there were, what emails you last recall receiving, etc, so hotmail could verify that I was really the owner of the account who was requesting a reset.

Thanks for the replys-it was blocked because a hacker got in. I filled out their form and they replied they dont have good information to reset account. I replied with additional information and hope that works, Have had this account for more than 12 years and have some emails on there that need an answer like yesterday. I am very upset

Well the bad part was I too had many things saved in emails on the account, and when it was finally unlocked, 99.5% of my old emails had all been deleted. Only some recent ones were still there, probably they arrived after the hackers had used the account already. So basically all my saved info was gone. Hope you have better luck.
