Blocked Dates

Will June 4 & 5 be noticeable busier because they are not blocked dates for CA pass holders? We have 6-day passes, so there will be 1 day in there that we will not go to the parks. Just trying to decide if there is a "better" day to not go to the parks. We do not fly in until 2:00 or so on June 3rd, but I know I will want to go that first night! So, we will need to take one day off during the rest of the stay (Mon.-Sat.).

No. The issue regarding unblocked passholders is not in general it is more crowded when they are blocked. Disney blocks passholders on days it already expects crowds anyways.

The issue is that during certain specific periods - especially after something new is opened - and especially, especially when this happens near a time before or after a prolonged blockout (such as the summer blockout) - many passholders try to squeeze in to see the new thing. This is within their privilege as passholders but it can cause crowds to surge on those days.

They will not make it greatly worse if they were or weren't blocked. The reason is it's weekdays, just because they can use thier APs doesn't mean they can go, work will stop it from being that simple.

They have nothing to look forward to since Matterhorn and DCA new stuff won't be open.

They are just as likely to go a week prior.
