Where is the best seating for the Block Party Bash if we want to see the Toy Story characters? When we were at Disneyland last the BPB got rained out. :( My girls are bit TS fans (though they love MI & BL too) so I'm hoping to scope out a prime spot before the start. TIA!

If I remember correctly we parked ourselves just left of the big sun if you are facing it. I think this is where the parade ends or starts. So you get to see everything. It is also one of the stopping points on the parade route. Enjoy!!

The other stopping point is at bugs land. In fact the Toy Story characters are right there at the Bugs land entrance. My 2 kids just loved it. One of the dancers fancied my DD 1 and smiled and waved at her the entire time. It is so cool!!! Also it is not as crowded at Bugs land.

Does anyone know the order of the movies? DD and I saw the guys from Monsters Inc> I want to know where Toy Story will stop at. I think they were first. Does it go in order of when the movies were made??

The order of the movies is 1) Toy Story 2) Monsters Inc 3) Bugs Life.

I have sat in all three sections, but my fave is Toy Story. I just love Woody! The area in front of BRRR-bank Ice Cream is a good place to catch Toy Story and the area around the walkway towards Soarin. As the parade passes you see the all three sections so if you dont get to sit in the area you want, you will still see it all. Although I try to sit in the Toy Story section, if Im tired or its been a long day, I will find a comfy seat first, and worry about the area after.

All 3 times I have watched, have been sitting in front of the ice cream place at a table and I think that is the best place to see Toy Story characters.

Where do you need to sit to see the Monster, Inc. stop? Out of all three floats, is one better than the other? Thanks!

Can you tell me more about the block party bash? Where can I read more about it?

I am also really curious about this...we are undecided as a party at this point which characters we want to see most.

Be careful, on most days, the show only stops twice now. Once in the entry plaza area and the other time over in the pier. This is usually announced to guests about 30 minutes before show time.

I don't think one is better than any other. I personally like to watch bugs or toy story though because the Monster float is huge and really blocks your view of the whole area if it stops right in front of you.

We watched from in front of Brrbank, then after it passed us ran around through Condor Flats to the Pier area and caught the Bugs Life portion.

What time of year was this? I'm curious if the crowds were heavy...would your escpae route work even on high attendance? This sounds like such a great idea, but we are going the last week of April (along with every one else...hehe).
