Block out dates

So I thought that the block outs took forever back during spring break but with the 50th fast approaching, 12 days, even the last week of Sept hasnt been released yet. What are they waiting for? I know that the dates starting Oct 1 are going to be extremely limited but come on! How long are they going to make us wait? Sept 30?

I thought they would let us know by now too but I’m not going to complain. At least I still have a job. I have reservations for Monday at MK and Tuesday at Epcot. Already linked and made reservations with my comp tickets for 1 and 2 October. Staying at Bay Lake Tower. Wishing we had our summer comps because we need reservations for 2 more people. Says they are coming out soon!

Heading to EPCOT as well Monday. It does suck, but I definitely figured with the 50th, they were gonna hold back on us. To be expected with the crowds predicted!

I know that there will be block outs but how about throwing us a bone and POST the dates? How hard is it? If there are going to be open dates then give us a chance to plan ahead a little. Right?

Last week of September released. I think the parks won’t be as busy as they think they will be. Most of the people going are CMs!! Keep us from going and the parks will be empty

We are going the 3rd week of October and have been patiently waiting for a long time. I just want to know if we can use the main gate or if I need my comp tickets.

I was able to book my husband under his MEP for 9-30, this is nice, saves me a comp. (he arrives 9-29 in evening). I do not expect to be able to book him Oct 1-3 on MEP, but at least I saved one!

I will MAKE SURE they use the MEP on 9-30. I have had them pull a comp first a couple times.

October blockouts are out through the 9th. Thank goodness I hoarded my comp tickets to use with friends for the 1st and 2nd.

Are you staying on property? We had that problem with a few quests and had to go to guest relations to fix it.

Yes, I checked okta it did say we could be passed over even with the comp. At least under retirees. I could call but did get all the other parks so I'll check when we get there or maybe after 3 pm MK will show up to hop during the week.

You can only book 3 days max at a time. Once day 1 ends, then you can book your 4th day, etc.

I was able to book 3 reservations with my MGP and 2 with my comp tickets.

I booked 5 days which is my reservation for all but MK, I only have one comp in the system expiring December but it did not work for MK on any day. I don't know...

Has anyone else who is no longer employed at TDS received any of their comps by email? There were previous posts that said they had to call cast ticketing to get them. I made sure all my info was up to date prior to closure.

When our store closed, we were also told that over the phone call. So far I have not yet received the summer comp tickets, and neither have any of the CM's I worked with. Hoping they come...but not counting on it.

I also wish they would give a little more notice on the calendar, especially since some CMs aren't located in Florida and have less flexibility when traveling. Since CM room-only discounted rooms must be cancelled within 5 days I do wish they'd publish the calendar in enough time to cancel trips if it looks like main gates will be completely blocked.

You may get access to some of the parks. I just got back from WDW on Oct 3. We had MEP access on 9/30 but not in October (understandable although the other parks weren't crowded, except for the stores)
