Blizzard Beach/Typhoon Lagoon mugs interchangeable?

I thought I read somewhere that the refillable mugs for Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon are interchangeable meaning that you can use a Typhoon Lagoon one at Blizzard Beach for example (as long as you pay the fee ~$5 - $6 of course). Does anyone know if this is true? We have one of each mug. They are so big and I'm trying to cut down on things to pack. Thanks!

I know that TL was testing a mug that had a barcode on it, meaning that the refillable mug was only good for one visit.....

We have an older BB mug that we have used at both BB and TL once we bought the daily bar code sticker. In fact, last time the guy selling the stickers and mugs made a big deal about it saying it was just like his.

Thanks for the confirmation. I just took out my TL mug and I'm going to bring my BB one to use at both water parks.

We just bought one yesterday for $10. The CM said that it is interchangable at both BB and TL and that you just buy a $6 bar code when you bring your mug to either park. The refill machines located all over the park are self-serve. You scan the barcode from the sticker on your mug, and then it activates the ice and soda.

People still find ways to take advantage of this. We saw a family at TL yesterday, continually scanning their ONE refillable mug, and then filling everything they had, cups, water bottles, etc.
