Hi we will 5 kids in our group ages 4 to 14...
which one do you think is better family oriented...we will be staying at Holiday Inn Family Suites....this is for mid November...are they comparable in price!!!

thanks!!!:D

Definitely Blizzard Beach. Wet 'n Wild was fun, but not nearly as great as BB. Have fun!

Another vote for Blizzard Beach I don't think thee's any contest.

Our 3 kids love it.

Sorry i can't help with price as BB is included in our tickets.

We had that pass for Universal and Wet and Wild so we went to Wet and Wild. We hated it. It seemed it was more the locals. Not clean. Not up to date. We ended up buying a ticket and going to TL on that vacation. If you are going to spend the money for a water park go to BB or TL.

Blizzard Beach, hands down. Nothing beats a Disney waterpark for family fun.

I would go with Blizzard Beach!

Blizzard Beach without a doubt!!! Years ago the W and W parks we very nice, but in the past few years they've become rundown and they just aren't keeping up with the pace.

Last I heard it's $24 for 3-9 and $29.95 for adults.

BB is a very nice park, lots to do for all ages. TL is another great waterpark. Both are way above W & W, IMHO.

Let me preface this by saying I agree, whole heartedly. I went to Wet and Wild 22 years ago, in 1981, for my senior class trip. Back then, it was such a novel idea and so new, a lot of us, being the younger set, liked it better than MK. DW and I went three years ago. It looks, well, dated.

That said, you're in the Disney boards. You might want to pose this question on the Universal Board and get a non-Disney-biased view. Of course, then you're getting a Universal-biased view. But note that many of us kind of feel there is no other park but Disney! I happen to think we're right, but you might want to get an alternate view.

As for pricing, they're similar. I think three years ago we paid about $28 for each, and if I'm right, they're both about $32 for a single day ticket now. W&W though is pretty much a tossin with any Universal Flex Ticket, I think.

Good luck.

Yes, this is the Disney board so you will get Disney based answers... if you did post this on the Universal Board, or the Orlando Hotels and Attractions board you will get different responses.

I went to Wet n Wild for the first time in 15 years last August. It was great, and with the flex ticket we went four times. My kids thoroughly enjoyed it, and they were very tired... not very easy to do with active kids! There were many things to do, and my DH enjoyed it as well.

That being said, we don't have any experience at the Disney waterparks. I f you do the Flex ticket it is included.
